New Locations

This year, ModernBrain resumed in-person courses at our first location in Tustin and our other popular sites in Palos Verdes and Eastvale. We've also added locations in Northridge, Thousand Oaks, and Rancho Cucamonga. Here are our addresses:

New Classes

ModernBrain just published its 2022 Spring course schedule for both our online and in-person students! You can register for our online courses here and our in-person courses here.

We're offering our traditional classes in Speech, Debate, Mock Trial, and Model United Nations. We also offer courses in economics, creative writing, screenwriting, and philosophy. 

If our classes aren't available at your desired time, we can open up new sections if there is enough interest! If at least three students commit to a new time, we will work with you to make it happen. Tell your friends!

New Discounts

We're offering limited-time discounts to folks who sign up early.

If payment and registration are completed before 11/30/21, you get a 9% early bird discount.

If payment and registration are completed before 12/15/2021, you get a 5% early bird discount.

If payment and registration are completed before 12/20/21, you get a 3% early bird discount.

If two students register from the same household during the same semester, the second student gets a 10% discount.

If the same student registers for two classes during the same semester, they get a 20% discount for the second class. [This discount does not apply to any Nationals Team class or private lesson.]

New Awards

We closed out the Professional Speech and Debate Association's November tournament.

• Gloria, Alani, Noah, and Aluna (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th) won Elementary Impromptu.
• Gloria won both Elementary Interp (1st) and Elementary Public Address (1st).
• Luna, Meera, and Eric (1st, 2nd, and 4th) won Junior Debate.
• Grace and Meera (1st and 2nd) won Junior Impromptu.
• Grace, Meera, and Luna (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) won Junior Interp.
• Luna and Grace (1st and 2nd) won Junior Public Address.
  

Then, our students won 15 GOLD awards at the November Scholars of Speech tournament.

• Debate GOLD awards: Ryan (Lincoln-Douglas), Rhea/Arianna (Public Forum), Celine (Congress), Summer (SPAR), Ethan (SPAR), Jason (SPAR)
  
• Speech GOLD awards: Ethan (Impromptu), Noah (Impromptu), Jason (Impromptu), Meera (Impromptu), Mira (Extemp), Anna (Platform + Interpretation), Jennifer (Platform), Sophia (Platform)

Kerry earned a second bid in Congress at the highly prestigious Glenbrooks tournament, fully qualifying to the Tournament of Champions (and it's only November!).

Lauryn, Ruhi, Peytan, Jason, and Brian each earned individual awards and commendations at the Tustin Model United Nations conference.

Finally, we dominated the out-of-state Golden Desert tournament (a competitive qualifying competition for the National Individual Event Tournament of Champions).

ModernBrain students have now earned over 80 individual championships, more than 20 bids to various Tournaments of Champions, and hundreds of other awards since late July. It isn't even December. Join our family!
